[REQUEST] EVGA 113-M2-E113-TR BIOS Unlock
#11
I checked again, it has virtualization on in the BIOS. I have AMD X4 940 which does have virtualization support. My motherboard needs an 8 pin power connector but the power supply had only 4 pin. It works fine with 4 pin connector. Would that have anything to do with virtualization not working? If not then the only option left is to change the motherboard.

Thank you,
CodeDJ

Possibly , it might be worth a shot using an 8 pin power connector - cheaper than a new motherboard!

Just FYI for other folks having the same problem. the 8 pin power connector did not make a difference. Virtualization still does not work. I did not buy the regular 4 pin to 8 pin connector, instead I bought the following from Newegg which has two separate streams of power for the 8 pin.

Looks like it's time for a new motherboard.

I have the EVGA 113-M2-E113-TR and have updated the bios to the one here on this site. I would like to have the function enabled in the bios to have the computer turn on every day. Currently you can only choose day 1-31, there is not the option to use 0 to turn on daily. Can this be enabled in the bios by a mod?

Current bios:

Looking at this bios in my tools , the bios and setup defaults for that option seem to be 0 but if you can only go from 1-31 then theres nothing i can do Sad

Sorry

Not sure if this was the right thread  or not but I am sorry if not.

I have this EVGA motherboard evga 113-m2-e113

It's OLD i know but i want to put Linux on it but... here is what happens

The motherboard will post to bios no problem. With exception of FLOPPY NOT FOUND hault. but then
I press F1 to continue and no matter if i am using USB or CD of Linux or Windows, Windows will show the logo for
windows for about 30 seconds or so and then  go to an all black screen and hang there all day, The linux will show an
error of ACPI ERROR AE NOT FOUND and then hang on the black screen all day. Was hoping that someone
could help me figure out what the heck is going on here. I did REFLASH the bios with the MOST up to date
version of EVGA's bios that they offer and was wondering if there is maybe a NEWER version of this bios
that someone might have tweaked to make this error and back screen go away.

Thank you everyone for your help in advance.
