[REQUEST] Acer Aspire A515-51(G) BIOS Unlock

Hi, I need help with bios mod for my laptop, my main concern is undervolting for cpu and gpu on bios, but if its possible i'll like to mod gpu clock and fan curve too.

I cannot play any games without undervolting and disabling BD PROCHOT in ThrottleStop because the cpu clock dropss to 400MHz suddently.

Can someone help me make a dump of my bios as well I do have a Soic8 clip, I don't know where the bios chip is on my board.
If possible I would l like to be able to have the CFG-lock unlocked and also all the advance menus

Hello, i'm new to this whole bios thing, and need some help with my TDP and power limits.

When my CPU hits 60-70C it starts to clock itself down, and it's always power limit throtling even if it's like 15w. I've tried using ThrotleStop but no result. Is it possible to edit such stuff in BIOS? If yes, how do i do that?

I was also wondering if someone else has the exact same hardware, weather i could just use their modded bios or woudl that mess up my device?

Hi,

I'm wanting to have my Acer Aspire 5's (A515-51G-55F1) bios modded to allow me to increase the cpu power limit beyond 15W (throttlestop and xtu have failed to increase it). I've done a bit of online research and am under the impression that the only way to increase the power limit on my laptop is to mod the bios. I've read that I'll need a "SOIC8 Clip and CH341a SPI programmer" which apparently cost like $5 USD on AliExpress so I'm happy to buy one of them.

I'm not sure if this is possible (hardware wise and software wise) but if there's also a mod to the bios that can give me control of the cpu fan through some available software then that would be awesome too.

And as a third, even more unlikely request, I wonder if there is a way (via a bios mod) to allow my CPU to go above it's base clock when the laptop battery is not plugged in? At the moment it will stay locked at 1.58ghz (base clock is 1.6ghz) when the laptop battery is not plugged in, I've messed around with all the possible power settings - they don't help. And I've checked in the bios - nothing there that helps. Not sure if it's a hardware issue or not.

I was unclear on which forum section to post this in so apologies if it's in the wrong one.
