EDIT: still looking for help to do this.
EDIT: I need to get this done before I order memory so that I can order the correct speed/latency, if I can enable XMP and the memory overclocking then I can order better memory, but I do not want to pay for memory I cannot fully utilize. If any one out there can also help with unlocking Vbios, I'd like to be able to increase tdp of the graphics card too. It sits at 68* but is hitting power limit.
EDIT: 3/3, still looking for help unlocking the overclocking performance menu.
Device: G731GW-XB74 Asus ROG Strix Hero III 17.3'' 9750H/rtx2070 (non-max-q)
I am looking to unlock the overclocking menu, memory speed / timings / xmp profiles, CPU power/thermal limits, GPU power/thermal limits.
For some reason BD PROCHOT (want to be able to disable this nonsense) trips when CPU is @~75* and ~35 watts (this is a 45 watt system), GPU seems to throttle around 67* , I'd like to try and run some faster ram in it and/or tighter timings (not sure if this is a great idea?), and bump up the TDP to correspond to thermal overhead. I'd like to know what are the thresholds for this to be tripped, because with out disabling BD PROCHOT via throttle stop, I can't get any performance out of the machine, where as reviewer's on youtube seem to get a lot of performance out of it. Turning off BD PROCHOT allows my CPU to run at 4ghz, but I still think the GPU is throttling for no reason. MSI afterburner will not do anything with the GPU.
I noticed in my testing that the 307 bios could only manage a ~80mv undervolt, where as the 306 bios could exceed that significantly, I wonder if the 306 bios has a higher voltage to start off as they both seem to end up around 1.08-1.09v.
I guess I'm not sure what to do at this point, where I found the menus and what not, but not sure how to enable them or write the bios to the PC, the bios flash utility in the bios didn't like the bios I created. It's not signed. My guess is we also need to extract the vbios out of the bios and make edits in it as well, before rolling it all back up.
I suspect that Asus pushed out 35 watt / max q bios's by mistake and they are being obstant in providing a fix or acknowledging the problem, or sent laptops with a un-neutered bios to reviewers and then shipped neutered ones retail to reduce warranty claims and/or allow more device to pass validation.

I should have returned this POS while I had the chance.
I downloaded vbios via GPUID and I don't know if that will help in anyway, but I have it.
