[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad P52 (N2CETxxW) Whitelist Removal
#1
Original Bios v1.24 (download the .cab file for Linux and extract)
https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds504024

The WWAN card is not supported in Linux under PCIe mode through the M.2 slot, however putting it into USB mode on bootup causes the error "Unauthorized wireless card". WWAN card came from Lenovo in the machine, the [censored] at Lenovo are just too lazy to work on this.

So if someone could, please remove WWAN and WLAN whitelist on this laptop. Thank you!

edit, also I'm not sure but I think you need a hardware flasher to flash the bios. There's some crazy fuse thing on this motherboard or something, idk, but I have a hardware flasher for SOIC 8. Lenovo apparently expected serious issues with BIOS (which is exactly what happened with their "Discreet Graphics" mode) and left a hole in the case specifically to access the bios chip right under the bottom plate.

I have the bios dumped from the onboard bios chip via a ch341a i2c programmer. im mostly looking for a bios wwan whitelist removal but anything over the top would be much appreciated. i know that @dudu2002 frequents this forum so if you see this thanks in advance for any help you can provide. it really annoys me i cant use my existing em7455b modem on MY laptop.
