[REQ]Acer E1-571G Bios Unlock/Advanced menu
#1
Hello, please help me unlocking the bios of my laptop.I need advanced menu to increase vRAM and maybe RAM timings.
Also, is there a list of supported CPUs?I'm curious if this supports 3rd generation Intel (currently on 2nd gen) since the socket is the same and theoreticaly the chipset supports Ivy bridge (HM77)
SLIC would be a plus
I'm on v2.21
Dump (.fd) attached.

Beers on me!

Yes in your bios is present the ivy bridge section
some of cpus supported are:
  • i5-3570
  • i7-3820QM
  • i7-3770
  • i7-2600K
(watch out for the TDP...)

No, you are wrong. Only i7-3820QM in your list is mobile.

You're right, that's the only mobile cpu onm the list.
Also the TDP is 45W instead of 35 designed for my ugly laptop. How come it supports 3820QM and not, let's say Core i7-3632QM ?(35W)

In the meantime i tried to play a bit with the bios and H2OEZE but whenever i click on Default menu it crashes, tried on multiple PCs with Windows10 (don't have any W7 in hand right now)
