I am trying to upgrade a eMachines EL-1300g-02w pc I got for free from a friend. I want to use it for older games, but when I put in a new graphics card, it completely ignores it and uses the integrated graphics. I have tried a Radeon 7570 OEM and a Zotac GT 630, neither worked.
There are no options in the current BIOS that says anything to do with graphics cards, so there is nothing I can currently do.
Official BIOS is here: https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles...5794722741&Step1=DESKTOP&Step2=EL%20SERIES&Step3=EL1300G&OS=X02&LC=en&BC=EMACHINES&SC=PA_6E
it only has a pcie x1 slot, and I'm using a pcie x1 to x16 riser cable, if that helps any
