Hello I have Lenovo U330 Touch and I want to replace my wireless card. I already found that I need to upload patched BIOS. What should I do to get such BIOS? Thanks

I have a u430p motherboard, and here are the files for it:

I'm willing to learn how to patch it myself if you can provide the links, but it would be greatly appreciated if you could patch it. Also, is it writeable or will I have to buy a Spi-programmer for it?

it is really great to have this forum still active for such cases :-)

I have an U330 touch and I am interested to remove the WiFi Whitelist. I used the previously posted dump tool to read the bios. That worked fine after the "sleep bug" without error 280.

The second tool to backup the bios would not work as it did not recognise the bios. As I understand that would be needed for modding. Anaway I do not want to flash a modified bios without having the actual bios backed up. Anything you would recommend? Is there a working backup tool that is recommended?

Now I also wanted to change my wifi-card and have problems with the whitelist. My notebook model is "U530 touch".
I've backuped my bios with the "Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0":
