Hello,
I have used the fpt12.rar tool and run the dump.bat as admin.
I didn't try to reflash the bios again, should i try? Or do you want me to use other tool to dump the current bios?
I never used these tools to make bios dumps before, usually i extract the bios chips and use a usb chip reader to make the dumps and reflash.
I'll wait your advise.
Thank you!

Your laptop's platform should use fpt version 11 to dump bios ,you use fpt version 12 can did it?? it's strange.
I just want to know whether you know how to re-flash it .(it need change variable then re-flash)
If you have spi programer ,use it to dump bios is better.

I want to make a correction, indeed you're right, i did that dump with ftp11, i confirmed when i saw the tool in the desktop of the laptop which i didn't have at the time i answered your question.
Anyway i made a new dump using the Nano SPI USB Programmer and this new dump i have verified and re-flashed the bios chip and it's working.
This will also be a backup in case something goes wrong. Another thing is the size, this new dump is bigger then the one made by the tool.
Link to the new working dump: https://www.dropbox.com/s/give3pd9a2l239...K.rom?dl=0
Thank you!

Try these mods and reply the result.
https://katfile.com/ib3exg3m8b4n/X556UR.rar.html
Result from first rom:
-= 1.rom =-
The laptop booted normally. In Bios menu, in advanced mode, i now have 2 new tabs "Advanced" and "Chipset" with a lot of new options in each one.
In the OS Win10, nothing changed and still didn't recognize the new Wifi card.
I don't know if this was expected, but you can tell.
I will now proceed to flash the second rom you sent.
Thank you!

The laptop booted normally and same result of the first rom or at least i can't find changes.
Still can't rcognize the new wifi card.
The wifi cards on this laptop are m.2 mini PCIe, in the bios there are new options for the PCIe ports. but might not do what is necessary.
I'll wait your feedback.
Thank you!

Ok, the result is the same. What i've noticed is that with the old wifi card the laptop bios post is fast to appear and with the new card has a 5s delay.
What i am going to do is to test this new wifi card card in a different system and try a diferent model on this laptop and then i post back the result.
Yes the first three tabs are new Main->Advanced->Chipset.
genius239 Thank you very much for all the help!
