Update: Okay, I'm back on my machine after an attempt to update the bios by using the procedures here, and it didn't work. I ran into an error while loading 'phlash.exe' (or ph1614.exe). The Platform signature was not found in the interface. May I have some help with this? I'm getting closer to success (or failure).

Further, while using RW everything, I can use Access>SMBIOS Structures and save that as an rw. I can also do that with my computer's wifi pci card (or the rest of the PCI modules). Which ones should I use for the whitelist procedure?

Tried to upgrade the wifi card in my Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15 (Model 0301) for 801.11ac and you know the rest! (Thanks, Lenovo!)

Searching here it looks like there have been some modified BIOSes kicking around for this machine, but the newest posts are at least 5 years old and links to files no longer work. Anyone have a working link to a BIOS with the whitelist removed? I know this is an old machine but it still works well aside from the lousy built-in wifi card. Thanks for any leads!

I see in the Whitelist Repository you have a already modified 80uj24us file (which should be compatible for this machine?) available. Is it possible to get a bootable ISO of this file?  - as I have a Linux install so I can't run the exe file

Hi, I am new to here....hoping for some HELP.

Done a lot of search with no luck and many old links which no longer works.

Trying to remove the white list which is giving the dreaded 1802: Unauthorized Network card is plugged in error... preventing me from installing a new Intel 7260 WiFi card.

-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15
-Bios Revision : LENOVO 80ET65WW (2.05)
-Bios Type : Phoenix EFI
