Download latest microcode for your CPU - https://github.com/platomav/CPUMicrocode...ACEE16.bin
Rename it to 806EA_new.bin and run:
fptw64 -a 0x2B9800 -l 0x19800 -f 806EA_new.bin
Make a screenshot of result.

In this case, there is a risk only if the BIOS is protected against any modification.
But this is the only way to replace microcode without full BIOS flashing.

I think it is? It was encrypted and RSA signed when I use stock flash.

I can easily recover the BIOS?


Recomended: dump the BIOS region first, update the microcodes (how?) then flash back the updated BIOS region with FPT...
