[REQUEST] EVGA X299 FTW K_BCLK Spread Spectrum UNLOCK
#1
Hi there,

The BCLK is too high, 103Mhz, it should stay at 100Mhz.
I'm looking for a BCLK spread spectrum setting to disable it, and I found this request:
https://www.win-raid.com/t5852f16-REQUES...-Lock.html

I've flashed this modded v.1.21 BIOS , but couldn't find any BCLK spread spectrum setting.

Can this setting be unlocked ?

Thanks in advance!

BIOS v.1.21:

You may try to search related items under Intel ICC tab.

I've looked for Intel ICC tab but couldn't find it.
I'm new to this forum.
Where can I find it, is there a link ?

Don't you said you already flash the unlock mod bios??
So ,you can see a unlocked tab called Intel ICC under stock Advanced tab. ,please saw carefully link of win-raid forum that you post .

I feel it should includes little items about bclk.

Hey, I've found the Intel ICC Tab eventually.
Settings I've tried so far:
"Bclk Change Permanent" set to Disabled.
By switching from Enabled (that's the default setting) to Disabled, the second row "Bclk Change w/o Reset" appears.
This row has 2 options to choose from, "Real Time change" and "Permanent, no warm reset", I've tried both, nothing worked out.
The "Spread %" didn't work as well, I've set the value 1, and it didn't apply that setting, after saving.
I'm still getting a BCLK of 101,8Mhz to 102,6Mhz, that's too high.

Any ideas how configure it?

Many thanks.

BCLK fluctuation up to 101Mhz is fine, but anything above is too much.
As you can see in screenshots, BCLK is set to 100Mhz in TAB "OC"

Set Spread % to non-zero value. E.g. 0.50 %

Yes ,bclk too high will effect device that was plugin to pic-e slot ,such as graphic card or raid card.

But i feel bios setting were normal ,it might hardware malfunction on the motherboard ,maybe oscillator or some of MLCC were broken ,so it can't generate a correct clock.

If you feel bclk is too much ,have you ever thought to decrease bclk in OC tab?? i knew it's a weird way ,but you could try
