Hi there,
Apologies if I sound a bit thick but I'm really new to this but excited to give it a go.
I make 'Hackintosh' machines mainly for studio use and I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 2 which I've got running macOS Big Sur with everything working perfectly apart from the Graphics Acceleration.
After doing some research I have found that the Advanced BIOS menu needs to be activated for the DVMT memory allocation to be changed which will in turn, give macOS what it needs.
I have uploaded to the latest BIOS, hopefully this won't cause problems. I have bought the clip and USB attachment to flash the BIOS, I just need to know...
What software is recommended to do it?
And where can I get a modded BIOS file that will sort out what I need?
Thank you all for any help
Ryan
