Official exe-firmware doesn't have full dump for flashing. It is used for update only.
You need to read BIOS on real OptiPlex 3010 motherboard or find real dump in Internet.

This is 4MB BIOS chip, but compatible BIOS for your motherboard (with Ivy Bridge support) requires 8MB BIOS chip.

Hello, I'm really curious if it's possible to add support for IvyBride to this older dell motherboard. mobo: MIH61R 32mbits eeprom H61 chipset I have i3-2120 and i5-3330s for testing. I have ch341a programmer and knowledge of programming/dumping, so there is no problem with that. Resources I've found: Few years ago people tried to add this support, unfortunately they failed: https://www.win-raid.com/t3733f16-Reques...pport.html Dell Inspiron One 2020 have the same chipset and have IvyBridge support Someone in the link soldered larger eeprom and flashed it with Optiplex 3010 bios, it worked but not without problems.
In the attachment is my dumped bios and original bios from Dell website Thanks for help in advance!
EDIT:
couldn't find this tread, i see my thread was moved here.
I will flash 8mb chip with optiplex bios, but is it possible to add suport to the rest of sata ports? only two are working with optiplex bios
