Go into Chipset ->PCH-IO Configuration -> BIOS Security Configuration ,then disable "BIOS Lock".
On next flash bios ,you will not need to do changes variable on grub shell again.

All I need now is the mobo to turn on with AC power. In BIOS this is usually available on desktops as something like "Turn on with AC Power" or similar.
Can that option be exposed (or tuned on) in the attached BIOS? Please and thank you.
Hello there!!
I have an unknow mother board as identified by AIDA64 and want to unlock this same option AC Restore on power loss.
The mother board manufacturer does not provides the BIOS file.
Is there any way I could copy my BIOS so Genius could enable this option?
Thank you!
