by checking security bulletins after the incident,hoping they will release a patch or something and they did.
yet still people are not even aware that many manufacturers had released bios updates for their devices cause like you said its not appearing in products' support pages,no clue why.

Hello,

Please can someone help with unlocking my bios:

I have a Acer VN-792g and i would like to unlock the advanced options in the bios.

One of my CPU cores are bad and i need to disable it. As it is now i can only get to the bios screen,
as soon as i try to go further i get bsod

Bios 1.10:
