1. Oh ok, very useful information, thanks. I've been reading it's best to undervolt via BIOS on this laptop, I did not know it could cause that (in fact I thought the undervolt could be reverted)

3. Well I could see what you mean, but it's not entirely contradictory : using throttlestop I could undervolt the CPU (-150mV) and also raise PL1/PL2 to stop the power throttling. As a result, the CPU now runs faster (sort of) and cooler (repasting also helped with temps).
4. Many thanks. Then, if the BIOS doesn't allow overclocking and undervolting via BIOS is not advised, what other hidden features could be useful on this laptop ?
