Hey, I got an P775tm1 with a i7 8700 and gtx 1080. I wonder why my i7 isnt going over 3,9 GHz. Maybe a newer or Unlock Bios will help? MY Current EC Version is 1.07.16NBC1 and Bios is 1.05.10. I think the 1.07.29 is the latest? Could you give me an Bios to get more CPu Power and a little Tutorial how to Update without crashing my System. Thanks :-)

worked so far... until that Point at the Bios Flash "error: ROM File Romid is not compatible with existing bios romid". In my Biossetup stands MB Series XMG Ultra_15_17_P7XXTM1, BIOS Version: 1.05.10, KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.07.16NBC1. I did the EC Update and now there stands only 1.07.16 in the Bios Setup.

No ideas about what? As I already wrote you above, If your laptop model it's a Clevo P775TM1, then you can download the latest bios version from this link:
