Sorry that I missed this but 'm afraid I can't help with that one
Could be just incopatible kit. Did you figure it out?
On another note, ASUS somehow forced a BIOS update with Windows update (or atleast I didn't realize I was updating the BIOS) and now the option to turn "Secure Boot" is gone and I can't install the mod anymore
As if ASUS wants the user to have as little control over the device even though it's my fking computer after I bought it!!
Hi all, first time posting so I hope I'm in the right section?
I have an Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX506HM (Intel i9 11900h, RTX 3060 95w etc) and finding that as I'm getting older I'm struggling to spend long periods looking at the built in screen so long story short, I bought a new monitor and want to be able to use Freesync/Gsync but my Laptop greys out nearly all options in Nvidia Control Panel, I believe my last option (I have tried everything else AFAIK) is to switch from Intel to Nvidia GPU in the Bios (AMI 2.20.0049 and on the latest version from Asus, 313) but the option appears to have been disable by Asus. My Bios is very limited.
I'm hoping that switching the GPU option in Bios to permanently prioritize the RTX 3060 will solve my problem.
Is it possible to have the option made available in my Bios please or is there a fully unlocked Bios available for my Laptop going around? I did a search here but couldn't see anything that might help.
I hope someone can help as I'm slowly losing the will to live trying to fix this.
