Hi all!
Sorry for my poor english - i am ukrainian. Please try to understand the matter of my post.
I have a Samsung NP-R60FY02/SER laptop.
HW are:
- Samsung R 59/60/61 motherboard codenamed "Praha"
- Intel Core2 Duo T8100 (Penryn)
- ATI RS600 chipset + SB600 south bridge with support of SATA and PATA controllers;
- integrated videochip ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 series (up to 256 Mb; shared);
- 4096 Mb of RAM (2 SODIMMs; 2048 Mb of each)
- Western digital HDD - WD1600EBVS-22RST0 (SATA)
SW are:
- Phoenix TrustedCore NB Service pack 3B with BIOS 09YI with MICOM 09YI (latest from manufacturer);
- Windows 7 SP1 x86.
My requests for modding the BIOS are:
1.) OS showing 2,75 Gb of RAM instead of 3,25 Gb like all x86 Windows systems. But some apps like CCleaner shows 4 Gb memory in own stats. BIOS shows 2 x 2048 Mb in SODIMM slots too. Can you mod the BIOS for normally using 3,25-3,4 Gb of RAM?
2.) The CPU supports Intel VT-x virtualization technology. Can it switch on/off from the BIOS?
3.) Can i switch a HDA 56K modem on/off from the BIOS?
4.) Can you add SATA ACHI option to this BIOS in your mods? Can i switch between IDE compatible/SATA AHCI? Will it stably working?
Any help and healthy criticism are welcome!
