You don't have to do it tonite as I read you @ work. but no worries we will be here. And we aren't going anywhere!
Actually that will be nearly impossible, long long ago back in the day I was hoping for the same thing as LLwelyn was looking for (a unlocked bios) and I was hunting for anything that would allow me to dive into it to get some just basic BIOS settings that allmost all MB's have like just simple memory timings alone to change and I could never find nothing for this board.

Well to make a long story short.... I talked directly to some people at ASUS and they dropped a bomb on me, its a completely proprietary MB that ASUS made exclusively for HP. They are yes identical to the -VM model and I mean right down to each chip. But I think HP did something to this MB to stop anyone playing with it, but I could be wrong...
I got nVidia's nTune program and when I go into it as just like the bios allmost everything is locked down but I noticed something odd. Wacked out reported voltage cores, insane fan speeds (like 20k RPM!) and I wish I didnt see this stuff cuz it makes me think that HP changed something down at the chipset level, Now nTune allows me to change memory timings which is a good thing for me as I have pc3200 Corsair ram in it and I was able to use its SPD 8-3-3-3 timings vs the HP bios of 7-3-3-3 and able to kick up my FSB a little but and get just a little more oomph out of this board. But if anyone can unlock any thing in this BIOS oh man finally after 4 years a nice dream would come true as I would love to be able to at least adjust my voltages. Keep up the good work and have a drink on me everyone.

By the way is there a AMIBCP out there that supports editing the 4mb BIOS?
