Hi, I have e lenovo z500 with this info:
Processor Intel® Core™ i5-3230M & 6 Gb RAM (4+2)
BIOS Version/Date LENOVO 71CN31WW(V1.10), 11/16/2012
OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000
first of all I decide to change 2gb ram with 4 gb new but after any change on ram capacity (even with only old 4 gb one)
system fall into a boot loop with black screen every 5 second. I disassemble laptop to reach cmos battery but clearing it not work.
then I decide to update bios, but after run the file on lenovo site 71cn51ww.exe v1.21 , system restart and show "InsydeH2O - Secure Flash Error : Invalid firmware image!!!" error and does not update. with press any key windows will boot.
these are my backup files of my bios:
with BACKUP_Tools19n:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/7gsoc3m1f...s.rar/file
with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/54tkxg6p2...).rom/file
with FWUpdLcl.exe:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/afqk5b82k...ww.fd/file
I took a survey look at result file and see the "Total Accessable SPI Memory: 6144KB, Total Installed SPI Memory : 6144KB"
as the specifications of this model, it can handle 16Gb ram, but my one seems had been locked on 6Gb. can any one say me the reason of ram upgrade problem or give me a solution? Thank's for helping.
