I have been given few years ago a 8440p, few weeks after a sierra LTE cell card. I can plug it inside. However, the bios rejects it, as the policy of HP product things..
I found then the why, then that bios could be modded..
I saw this topic , with a certain hope

just, really, is that impossible to use a CDMA/LTE module inside of it, because it requires external devices to experience HP bios modding? I have nothing else than the laptop, and I would be a bit disappointed to understand hp fucked me a bit (was a free laptop but... bad behavior) on this side.. is there really no way out to get it supported without breaking the bios?
in addition, could coreboot/linuxbios could run on it?

Hello, Im trying to use AX200HMW WLAN card, but after the instalation i got typical error:
104-Unsupported wireless network device detected.
System Halted. Remove device and rerstart.

I have a dump of F60 dump of that bios.
Can anyone help me unlock the BIOS so that this card will work? I have a CH341A programmer.

I've been trying to find a thing on this website to help me remove the whitelist. They might have worked, but most of the URLs included to those utilities are dead (or otherwise do not have any downloadable files) meaning I cannot test them.

Current version is F.60, any help please?
