Looking for help, maybe this is the place?!
The Dell G5 SE (4600H/4800H/4900H & RX 5600M) is AMD's first SmartShift laptop, that was released almost 2 years ago now.
The first BIOS, that was observed for a VERY short time, was v1.0.0 and it had a option to 'disable' SmartShift.
Every version thereafter, removed this option, and it's no longer on Dell's website as a 'prevous' version.
However, due to this first BIOS v1.0.0, someone was able to find the exact value, and through a L-O-N-G and tedious process, we can manually configure our BIOS to disable SmartShift.

Why would we want the option visible and toggleable in BIOS? If we're on the road, and don't have a cooling dock on hand, it's best to Enable SmartShift. However, when at home and gaming, we generally have a high end laptop cooling pad that's used for docking the laptop, and we then would Disable SmartShift.
There's two main versions that would be awesome to have this disabled on, from Dell's website. v1.3.0 and v1.4.4 - most of us are on v1.4.4 as it uses a little less voltage than v1.3.0 but still allows for higher clocks under heavy load over other versions except v1.3.0 which also generates a LOT of heat.
Laptop Make: Dell
Laptop Model: G5 SE (4600H/4800H/4900H w/ 5600M)
BIOS Version/s: v1.3.0 & v1.4.4 (mainly v1.4.4)
Feature/s: SmartShift unlocked in menu, for a 'on'/'off' toggle option
Other: SAM (Resizable BAR) [not sure if this is even in the BIOS, but if someone know's what to look for, would be awesome to have]
Thanks!
