Abit SA7 need prescott CPU support
#11
It is probably impossible to add prescott CPU support to SA7, I have tried by myself too, after studying bios modding.
After lot of work I could make a new cpucode.bin (with dothan support) and I could successfully add it into my SA7 bios with cbrom. It works greatShy.

Now I would like to add this same cpucode file to my Asus P4S533 bios, but I cannot with cbrom. When I release the old microcode file from the bios, the bios file going to grow to 4MBHuh. It should stay only 262KB. Can you help me from this point? Can you add that cpucode file into my P4S533 bios?

The necessary files are attached. Thank you!

We have always had a bit of trouble with bioses ending in .awd.

please use http://dl.dropbox.com/u/747181/Universal...Backup.EXE to save a copy of your current bios in .bin format and we might be able to help Smile
