We are talking about a Clevo NP70PNJ.
Model: Notebook NP5x_NP6x_NP7xPNK_PNH_PNJ
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700H (906A3, Intel Alder Lake-P PCH)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop
I've already searched on https://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS, but found nothing.
I've already managed to create an Intel ME Firmware to update my manufacturer BIOS. ?
However, I can't seem to update the CPU microcode. I think UBU is not suitable for Insyde BIOS, and UEFITool refuse (greyed) to insert or modify blocks. ?
And to be honest, I'm a bit afraid. ?
In essence, I'm trying to update my manufacturer BIOS with its firmwares and possibly unlock it (Undervolt CPU, etc).
I'm not opposed to learning or putting efforts on my part, but I'm coming here as a last hope at the suggestion of the Win-Raid Forum community.
What I can provide:
1/ The latest manufacturer BIOS available ➜ NPx0PNx.12.zip
2/ The Intel ME firmware I've created(★) ➜ ME_FWUpdate.zip
3/ Microcodes extracted from the manufacturer BIOS ➜ CPUMicrocodes_From_NPx0PNx.12.bin.zip
4/ The latest microcodes from ➜ CPUMicrocodes_906Ax_Update.zip
Source 1/ ➜ https://bit.ly/46D2Dxz
Source 2/ ➜ Custom-made following the guide at https://bit.ly/46vHLbm
Source 3/ ➜ Extracted from [Source 1] using https://bit.ly/48O8wtI
Source 4/ ➜ https://bit.ly/46xEw35
Note: I understand how tedious it can be to search for *.FFS, *.BIN, *.BIOS, *.ROM and other files like these, so I'm open to taking care of that and adding them here if anything is missing. ?️
Of courses, Thank you very much! ?
EDIT : If that could help : From LongSoft / IFRExtractor-RS:
ifrextractor_v1.5.1_Windows.zip (409.1 KB)
EDIT 2 : No need to try to unlock this BIOS anymore. Indeed, this 12th generation processor model has an undervolt protection ? that can only be unlocked on a CPU type K/X. So for an iCore 12700h, it's either not possible to modify this BIOS, or it's pointless because undervolts won't be applied…
And since I've managed to integrate the latest CPU microcodes into this BIOS, this request is no longer necessary; a moderator then can delete this thread.
Thank you! ?
