[Accepting Requests] HP Probook 4530s WLAN whitelist Disable
#1
Hi everyone,

@Mods
Please move my post to the correct section if it is misplaced. I posted here because people come this part of the forum to make requests
If possible, please sticky it.

I am accepting WLAN whitelist removal requests for HP Probook 4530s (and similar HP machines with 2Mb, 4MB, 6MB and 8MB, 8-pin, single chip BIOS) release during 2011-2014.

Doesn't matter if it is RSA signed or anything.

The modified BIOS image I will provide will need to be flashed using CH341A or similar hardware programmer.

Please take a full BIOS image of your BIOS chip and share a link or attach as part of your post.

You must have
  1. knowledge on how to take a bios image from your flash chip
  2. SOIC-8 clip and a CH341A programmer,
  3. Another PC for flashing the modified image back to the HP laptop
  4. Basic knowledge of using Computers/Softwares/Windows
  5. AsProgrammer or any other software program that supports CH341A
  6. Nice to have: Having used CH341A or similar programmer before

Disclaimer: There are always risks associated with flashing BIOS mods. It should be attempted carefully and on the correct chip, using appropriate programmer/software and users must have appropriate knowledge on how to use/acquire the hardware and software programmer such as CH341 etc, details of which are skipped being out of the scope of the purpose of this thread. There are so many things that can go wrong if a novice attempts to flash a chip using any programmer. Please use appropriate care and seek training or professional help in advance if unsure how to proceed. I will not be responsible for any loss or damage whatsover. Best.
