Okay, if you need live support I am on most times @ cjj9872000yk@passport.com. Please go to the BiosMods homepage, then click recovery, and read the tutorial on BIOS recovery. If you dont have access to a floppy drive, please contact banana19, and he can try to do the flash over the network ROM.
I guess there have been a lot of "mispostings" with this BIOS and I am sorry. Fortunatly I have a spare DIP8 chip and this board, and I am testing BIOSes for it as we speak

I thank you for your time with this. I will try this recovery but since it seems no bootlock is around anymore I wonder what in motherboard options I might have. This spare chip is nice. If I send my chip can you put in your burner and maybe get a bios on it? I am really looking at getting a dual bios mod for this motherboard if I do or I get backup I can test bios's for you. I am an electronic engineer and maybe put some good help out here for most of these people that might need.

the award boot block 1.0 message is all you need for a floppy disk recovery. it may take a couple reboots for it to come back on.

do you whatever you did to get this message
"Update:
I rebooted couple time and 1 time it came up saying award bootblock bios v1.0 . It also said bios rom checksum error , keyboard error no keyboard found. Detecting Floppy drive A media, Drive A error system halt. No keys would get me out just a power off. Jumper settings to clear bios and removing batter for some time has no effects on the pc "

I have been looking at several Nettle3 boards and I have noticed that there seem to be two different versions out there. The first is the mobo that was offered by HP and seems to be rather hard to come by. The other says "Product of China" right between the two PCIe 1X slots and appears to be a knock off, these all over Ebay and I am kind of leery of them. I wonder if they both run the BIOS and if the BIOS you modified might work on one but not the other.
Just sayin'

Very interesting find. There's also two different revisions 2.1 and 2.2

There doesn't seem to be any commonality between the versions and the PRODUCT OF CHINA silkscreened on the board. The HP website shows a V2.1 that has "made in china" in a small font on it. There are ones on Ebay that are V2.2 and some have the small font "made in china" and some have the large font "product of china" on them.
Any idea which one your BIOS worked on? I really want to know before I get one.

Well i had the crazy 5.17 hp bios working for people on some boards with the jumpy menus and now theres a 5.29 bios released april 2010. My guess is the 2.1 thats in my basement that came directly out of an hp so let me double check.

One question that I didn't see answered in this thread is will the unlocked BIOS allow any processors higher than the Phenom 9600 and are we still limited to 95W?
