Still need help with bios!
#1
please! i still need help with my bios..
I have a pheonix bios.. I've went to the website and reflashed.. I've tried all the default passwords.. i've ran almost every single bios boot cd to wipe it, fry it, attack it, hack it, smash it, everything..
i've cut all power.. i've taken the whole thing apart..

please help!! lol

you are not presenting this problem very clearly for us to try and help you.

Make and Model of your motherboard

Are you locked out of the bios? You are after the password? or have you had a bad flash and have bricked the motherboard? If your after the password , remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard and wait for a good 15 minutes or so before plugging it back in. This should erase the CMOS password unless its hard coded into another chip (happens in some laptops)

I've taken the battery out, and it did nothing. It didnt reset the password, it didnt clear it, nothing.

and i dont know the motherboard name.. I'll see if i can find it..

is there anything i can do to whipe it?

when i press the power button on the laptop, it goes to the bios loading screen and when you press f2, to enter the bios it asks for a password. the computer starts and i can get into windows, and i can go into the advanced boot menus and what not, but i cant get into the main setup.

Try that but it really looks like its involving getting to a jumper on the motherboard itself , switching the jumper , powering back up with the jumper in the new position , resettting BIOS , saving BIOS Cahnges , powering down , replacing jumper in original position then powering up again
