Hello everyone!
I want to replace the i5-430m processor with an i7-640m (the new processor works, I checked it on another laptop).
After replacing it with a new processor, my laptop stopped turning on. After installing the old processor, the laptop turns on again.
On other forums, they said that it is very likely that you need to update the bios (supposedly, the current version is not compatible with the i7).
Unfortunately, I could not find a suitable version in the public domain.
I would be very grateful if you share a link and instructions for the updated version of bios!
