i dont think its that important that the bios cant identify it as long as windows sees it fine as its Windows that will use the CPU once its booted up

I wouldn't worry about it so long as you can successfully boot up with it

Can you plz check this Bios just to make sure the correct CPU code is used.

This is from the AsRock ConRoe motherboard that uses a Intel chipset.
Thing about this board is It only takes the QX6800 B3 stepping CPU.
Can you check it out please even thoue you bios works.

I believe that the references that can be seen as changes to the v1.70 revision are the required microcodes
