OOk! I thought you could not here! well, I saw there that the guys are using BIOS v1802, I also decided to use this bios and did a download! am now with the 1802 version, and more, I found that Nvidia chipsets in the release does not happen due to be castrated for Bios same, this release is for the only Chipset AMD 7-series. Sad
Excuse the mistake!

Hi Everyone

Just been over to the Asus M2N-Sli Deluxe Page and found they have brought a new bios out. It is version 1804 not sure what happend to the numbering system they had as the last bios update was 5001. From the description on what it says on the asus site is "takes long time to check ATI EAH 5570 VGA card". Im guessing it resolves the problems with ATI Cards. Im not sure if there are any newer tweaks they have done to the bios since last relase.

It appears Asus screwed up again and placed the Bios for a different board:

M2N4-SLI 1804 BIOS
Fixed it takes long time to check ATI EAH 5570 VGA card

This is when you look at the regular Asus site for a description of this Bios,

however embedded within the Bios is states:

Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PGĀ«es, Ltd. Phoenix T.Copyright © 2009, Phoenix Technologies, LTDoNASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE ACPI BIOS Revision 1804

So this gets a bit confusing!!

Ahh nice catch, if someone posts the BIN to the forum I'll see if there's any new CPU stuffs.

One slight bug in your modified bios - if I run chkdsk and it indicates I have to reboot to fix the problem or if the system picks up an error and runs chkdsk on a reboot the chkdsk will not work but when it does try the system will just freeze. I have to run chkdsk for the Windows 7 disk to resolve the problem.
After I "upgraded" to the 1804 bios from Asus I no longer have this problem. I hope you can fix this when you put out your revised bios, but even if you cannot the benefits of your new bios far outweigh this minor glitch. Again thanks for your hard work!

I know this is kinda off topic, but is there anyway to get Phenom II or Atlhon support on a MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum SLI motherboard??

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with running a new x6 PhenomII on the M2N deluxe with DDR2 ram.
Is this advisable? Should this theoretically work? If anyone could please confirm anything I can go ahead and order one.

I've read several things about it, but I find it still hard to believe that a X6 works on an AM2+ board with DDR2 ram

In theory it should work if you flash the latest 1901BETA BIOS. I know I've had guys just stick it in without the mod and it recognizes it as a dual core opteron, but I believe my mod will fix any issues like that. Have you read the Guru 3D link?
