unlocked bios incorrectly recognize my ddrII800 dual channel 128bit
as ddrII400 dual channel 64bit

Are you sure you haven't set the memory controller to Unganged mode?

i haven't found this option in my unlocked or original bios

First The "unlocking" is that just the same as showing (Ctrl-F1)
or is it unlocking safe mode allowing for overclocking?

second will this work for (rev 2.3) or does it replace it?

Unlocking means making hidden BIOS features visible (and respectively usable). Rev2.3 uses a different BIOS, so don't try to crossflash it.

So as far as the safe-mode preventing Overclocking, that may be an option in a hidden/locked menu? or is there no way to tell unless I'm actually in it? Undecided

Sorry for the spam its just I'm a little new to Bios Modding.

What is this safe mode you speak of? Both revisions of this board have overclocking capabilities.

After setting up Even a minimal OC, then F10-ing. It stops at the Boot screen and prompts (in broken English):

"Warning! Now System is in safe mode. Please re-setting CPU Frequency in the CMOS setup"

From looking around I see its a common problem.
