EVGA 680i SLI P31 With P33 CPU Support (Wolfdale)
#1
Hi there,

Im hoping you can help. I'd be happy to donate.

Im sure this is an easy one for you.

here is a link to the board: http://www.evga.com/articles/329.asp

and them manual: http://www.evga.com/support/manuals/file...K-NF68.pdf

I need the microcode for wolfdale procs added to an earlier bios for the same board.

Basically, EVGA changed something fundamental in the bios that no longer allows a single graphics card to be used in anything but the 1st x16 slot. I need to use the 2nd one.

the p31 allows this, but doesn't have the microcode for wolfdale procs, the later p33 does.

Unless of course removing the restriction from p33 is easier. Your choice.

i have attached the files, however, if that doesn't work ive shared them also

p31 link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/dmcd7yjjoapcp0r/p31.bin

p33 link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/avuw17t7a6...68_P33.bin

Attached Files
.bin   p31.bin (Size: 512 KB / Downloads: 13)
.bin   NF68_P33.bin (Size: 512 KB / Downloads: 11)

Sorry this has taken so long to reply to , both myself and my co-admin have been completely rushed off our feet!

Here is your mod. I took all the processor microcode out of the P33 bios and inserted it into the P31 bios. Because of space limitations in the P31 bios i had to remove the inbuilt Award Flash rom (AWDFLASH.exe) but this isnt important.

Try at your own risk!
