Biostar A770 A2+ to recognize AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Deneb cpu

Hi all, first post

I recently purchased the AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Deneb from newegg for my Biostar A770 A2+ mobo. I assumed it could support this cpu as it's an AM2+ mobo and the cpu is listed as AM2+, but when I boot it doesn't recognize the cpu in bios or in windows. The system boots fine but the cpu is not recognized. I wish Biostar would just update their bios files. Can anyone mod this to support this processor? Here's a link to the latest bios
