HP m7655 Unlock Request
#1
I hope someone can help.

I have a HP m7655 and would like to overclock it to get a bit more grunt out of it.

I have tried opening my ROM image using a couple of different tools but, no joy.

I would be very grateful if somebody could please have a look at unlocking some of the OC features such as FSB Multiplier, voltage etc. ?

I have added the file that I used to flash my BIOS with so far.

Much appreciated.

Gizmo

Apparently I'm only familar with using Phoenix Bios Editor and this won't open with it, although I'll bring a copy of the bios to class today and see if my professor can look into it =]

Thanks that would be great. At least it is slightly comforting that I am not the only one to have difficulty with this BIOS.

Thanks

hey httuner,

Please check the devel;oper thread, you can use the Phoenix SLIC tool to decompress and recompress the modules. Instructions are in the thread.

I can't look into this right now, as for the moment my computer is DEAD_ Apparently a bad capacitor in my power supply gave out and with that it took my whole motherboard with it =[ and I'm using the computer at school but I'm picking up a new motherboard this weekend so hopefully I'll be back online by monday, otherwise so_
