Hello everyone ...

I am trying to modify a IEI Wafer-LX800 Award Bios ...
I want to change some default values !
However i tried with MODBIN62.04.03 and the flash has gone wrong (need to reprogram flash now with a eprommer)

Can anyone help me what are the correct tools to use or edit the file for me ? Thank you VERY much in advance ...

Firstly many apologies for the delay , we possibly could have some searching issues because this post didn't appear in the list of "new posts" when i checked the requests!

What defaults do you want changing? Tell us and we can then try the mod

Hello ! thank you for the reply!

The changes needed would be:

DEFAULT:

Advanced Chipset Feat. -> AUDIO -> DISABLED

PnP/PCI Config -> IRQ5 -> LEGACY ISA

Thank you very much in advance Wink

Here you go try at your own risk. I also unlocked a couple of hidden settings Smile

Sorry , you can try the "Award Bios Recovery Procedure" to attempt to recover your bios.

If that doesnt work , have a look on your motherboard to see if the BIOS chip is soldered on or in a socket. If its in a socket then you can remove the BIOS Chip and send it off to us to be reprogrammed .

If the chips soldered its time for a new motherboard :S
