haha good stuff. yeah i had a feeling it looked similar to a samsung.
ill run cpu-z. and the wbflash.

the wbflash shows ModelName: Pine Trail - NP11 current version: 6.00 new ver R0120Z4 and says its not supported in this model on a popup.
was looking into the epson. seems its a nettop not a netbook . so samsung or sager or clevo it might be
edit.. seems like OLIVETTI M1025 or averatec n1200 but different location of ports.

how i found it : in SIW.exe the bios startign segment is E803h so i searched for n450 E803h and found soem chineese site.. translate and there it was.

Flash the BIOS method:

Method 1. With burner burner

1. The Flash ROM into the burner outlet;

2. Open the burner power, run the burning software, select the correct device type;

3. In the burning software, open devel35p.rom;

4. The implementation of programming and verification.


Method 2. Burning with burning software

1. For MS-DOS startup disk (U disk or hard drive);

2. Copy of the Flash tool package to the startup disk;

3. Copy flashabl.rom to Flash tool package directory. If the BIOS file is not flashabl.rom, need to first rename it into flashabl.rom;

4. From MS-DOS boot disk, switch paths to Flash tool package and flashabl.rom directory, run PTFB1.bat.

I think winflash doesn't accept different platform.
I advise you need dos base to flash bios, than windows based winflash.

try the backup bios on dos, 1234s282 added.

phlash16.exe BIOS.WPH /BBL /S /X /C /MODE=3

It would be better to keep on backup current bios, but I don't think the backup bios can be flash.

And it is too risk to update bios with other unknown bios, it might be slotech or samsung netbook, etc...

If you are willing to go head against worst case, like as blank screen, I would like to stick these.

well, if in my shoes, I will try the backup bios, fails? then software crack, activator, or stick on xp. because it isn't mine, and too risky.

its definitely soltech pt21 no doubt.
i think i have to flash EC first but it wont go cause i think the people that rebranded changed bios and EC identifiers.

i tried it all phlash16 phlash167.

boardid should be Soltech PT21 according to winphlash advanced section with the original bios loaded to flash

The update files have bios and embedded keyboard controller update.

nuvoton ec flash is for embedded keyboard controller update.
and phoneix is for mainboard bios update.

you can get Nuvoton FlashUpdate_UserGuide.pdf from the below.

The HP modded one has change name from FLASHABL.ROM to PT21HP.ROM and /Force option on PT21HP.bat, but there isn't WPC.ROM as original PT21 file.

If you no doubt it, run phlash16.exe BIOS.WPH /Force /BBL /S /X /C /MODE=3 on pure dos.
and skip the embedded keyboard update, nuvoton ec flash.

i have tried to flash with phlash16 v 1.7.0.7 it says Part id not found in table of supported parts.
all methods fail so far.
i think i have to use recovery method to force it.
the flupdate.exe i have isnt the same as nuvoton page. its older cause the switch -novr -pfu dont work with it.

according to winphlash i have 2 chips.. W25X80 (001200EF) and MX25l800 (001300C2)
