My Dell Precision 490 has mainboard 0DT031. It uses the Intel 5000X Rev 12 chipset and the Intel 6321ESB Rev 09 chipset. The most recent BIOS update from Dell is version A08 . I've 2 Intel Xeon Processor X5270 (6M Cache, 3.50 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB) LGA771, but the most recent BIOS update from Dell does not patch microcode to support a 5200 series Xeon processor with step E0. A Dell PowerEdge 1950 uses a different mainboard 0TT740 but it shares the Intel 5000X Rev 12 and Intel 6321ESB Rev 09 chipset combination with the Precision 490.
