for BIOS:

for EC:

However, my supplier (XXODD) is bankrupted and Clevo don`t offer BIOS anymore ofcourse the other resellers dont help me coz they will not sell me another x8100. One reseller actually told me they dont have the unlocked BIOS as well and that they fully support Clevo on locking up systems.

So actually they sold me Porsche without gearshift to make sure I will not drive too fast Undecided

Hi 1234s282,

You can get Clevo x8100's BIOS over here. Clevo/Sager is implemented weird policy; no BIOS download on their support website. Owner will need to request for BIOS package/update via email.

Sorry but i cant open this in the program which will allow me to easily do the mod and check where and if the unlocked option appears.

Theres another way but i don't really want to start messing about with things when i cant check them. The software that wont open this bios allows emulation to see the menus that will appear when the BIOS is flashed which is very important when unlocking settings in Phoenix Bioses. Without this option im much in the dark and dont want to risk it!

I can mod this BIOS but unfortunately I'm really busy. If Sumo can wait a little bit longer, I'll mod it.

This is modified BIOS image for Clevo X8100. It is based on BIOS_13 (X8100_BIOS_13.zip). Use at your own risk!

  • If you flashed BIOS with this modified BIOS image, please take pictures of the unlocked BIOS options & post it here. No need to take pictures of all unlocked options. Just two to three pictures only.
  • There are several unlocked options for overclocking. Please be careful with them. Probably for overclocking, you'll need combination of the modified BIOS with Intel XTU or ThrottleStop.
Unlocked options:-
Code:
Advanced -
          |
           - Advanced Chipset Control -
                                       |
                                        - CPU Control Sub-Menu

                                        - "  Flex Ratio Override:"
                                        - "Memory Voltage Enable Support:"
                                        - "   Memory Voltage:"
Quote:NOTES: I have unlocked other menu as well. Please be careful with it. If your computer doesn't boot after changing something in the sub-menu, you will need to disconnect the CMOS/RTC battery to reset CMOS back to default. To do so, you will need to open your notebook casing.
Please make sure your notebook can recover corrupted BIOS with CRISIS disk before flashing BIOS with this modified BIOS image. I will not responsible for any problem. Good luck. Smile
