I sold my t180 to my roommate. I built a new pc with a phenom ii 555 be. It's 80w... It didn't unlock so I want to try another cpu. Would the 555 work in the t180?

I'm also concerned about the file, at one point, you were using a file that matched the name of the original .bin file, now it has changed.
Is that just because it's the ABIT bios you mentioned using?
Also, I tried opening the file in WinFlash just to see what it had to say, and it claimed it wasn't compatible.
Basically, I just want to make sure all is well before I attempt this.
---
Edit: Probably already obvious, but I have an Acer E380 running the official version of the bios RO1-CO, it's the correct board, and a revision 1, I believe, if it matters. (I have the stock X2 4400+, hoping to get it up to around, 2.8 at least, since my socket 939 AMD64 3700+ runs that on a stock cooler. Though, that CPU is a beastly overclocker, so I may not get that much out of this one.)
---
Edit: Btw, will this possibly help with any other issues, for example, my Logitech mouse, and GPU wouldn't work in this system, they should be fine, I pulled them from a working system, and placed them into this one, and neither worked.. ?
The mouse gives me some error, then reports as an unknown device, and the GPU, well, the system won't even post with it installed, it lights up for second(HD Light, etc,.), then powers down. (There is a slight chance I ESD'd it, but I'm generally very careful, so I don't know..)

So, am I being ignored, or this forum dead, or does no one know the answer to my questions?
I just don't want to ruin my PC because someone uploaded the wrong file, so all I want, is some verification that this is the proper file, as for the other questions, well, I can live without those being answered.

I'm not sure if the BIOS file was changed or not, but I have a copy of the ABIT BIOS I flashed into my Aspire E380. If you want I can email it to you.
I've tested a PCI-E video card once on my board, and I don't remember experiencing any problems.
Have you tried clearing the CMOS memory by removing the battery?

Just put it up on mediafire\rapidshare, and pm me the link, or post it here.
I've tried everything, it just won't boot, I tried changing various settings, re-seating the GPU\Memory, resetting the CMOS, even updating from the original R01-B4 (or whatever bios) to the most current bios version.
The GPU is either dead, or the mobo\bios is borked. (The only other possibility is my PSU, but, it's an Antec 550watt True Power 2.0, which should be enough, it was also in a working system before, and was fine.)

Well, I was feeling brave, and installed this bios, and it works fine on my E380.
Thanks for the bios, it's a lot better than the original, though, it didn't help any of my issues, except for speed, with it's overclocking options, etc,. (ie, my mouse still is unrecognized, and my GPU still doesn't work in this PC.)
For my OC, i went simple, just boosted the FSB up to 225. (225x11.5=2,587.5) (I'll do a proper OC later on.)
Anyways, if anyone is curious, as of this post, the files listed in the OP are the correct files for an Acer E380.

Acer E380, MCP61PM-AM REV1.0 HT 2000, Bios R01-A4, Athlon 64 X2 4200+, 3GB Ram Asus HD 5450 1GB Silent, Windows 7/32
New at this forum posting stuff so please bear with me.
Tried to update the R01-A4 to the R01-C0 using Acer's winflash and got a message that update could not be completed because jumpers were locked. End result bios chip done , new one ordered and in the mail.
Would like to flash the new chip when I get it with the M613Z_19 bios so that I can upgrade ram to 6gb and install win 7/64. I have floppy drive and have made a boot disk with the awardflash.exe and modded bios.
So my questions are
1) Is this the correct way to enter the flash command where ? = space
AWDFLASH?M613Z_19.BIN?/py?/sn?/cc?/cd?/cp?/wb?/r?/f
2)Does anyone know where the locked jumper is. The only jumper on the board that is shorted is the 1/2 pins of the clear CMOS jumper, does the cap need to to be removed it, or is there something in the bios that needs to be disabled. I don't want to toast another chip.
3)I noticed that Silka had to remove his PCI-E card after flashing to get the system to boot. Is this something that everyone with a PCI-E card has had to do.
4)With the new bios will the board accept 65W AM3 processors, since that is all I seem to be able to find for sale.
Thanks to any who answer

If it doesn't work, try:
AWDFLASH M613Z_19.BIN /f

No. TheWiz and his crew are still trying to get this to work. Another user [I think it was Tigerfox] was able to use AM3 processors, but his board has been repaired/upgraded with different capacitors, so it's not feasible.
Someone suggested flashing the ECS MCP61P-M3 BIOS, but it's an AMI BIOS [the original Acer and M613Z_19 are Award BIOSes], which means you need an EEPROM programmer to do it. Even then, I don't know how well this option would turn out.

I read through the pages, but wasn't answered. Does this have a 2.1 SLIC? If not, could that be added? Thanks!
EDIT:
Ok, I'm assuming the one posted on page 1 is straight retail. I downloaded that, and then used Award SLIC Mod v1.52
Selected ABIT which prompted the 0+2 method, and used Acer SLIC & SLP.
Everything flashed fine, it rebooted, fans were on high, I saw the screen and hit the del key and I got a black screen. I turned the power off, turned back on and monitor doesnt power on. I tried putting in a PCI video card, tried unplugging everything except ram, tried different PSU, different ram, tried unplugging CMOS battery for hour, reset jumper pin, tried recovery floppy. Nothing works. CPU fan turns off shortly after power on. Power button doesnt illuminate, sometimes holding the power button down kicks CPU fan on high, other times it turns all fans off.
Any ideas?
