HP Mini 110 1030NR Whitelist Remove / APIC Option

Hello,

I have an HP Mini 110-1030NR, and am having trouble installing an operating system. I can only install Ubuntu with the "noapic" flag, and would like to be able to disable APIC or reset the IRQ / PnP info from the bios. I also have a wireless card I would like to use, but it isn't in the whitelist.

If it would be possible to disable the whitelist and enable any advanced options related to APIC or PnP (or really any advanced options available), that would be great. I saw the other thread in this same section someone just posted about a related model, where someone had enabled such advanced options.

The BIOS in that thread was modified to have "power and advanced menus" unlocked.

How interchangable are the mini 110 BIOSes? The link you provided was for an 1177TU, and the other Mini 110 bios on this forum I linked to is for a 3500. My model is the 1030NR.

Yes i did it, but it is an INSYDE BIOS and your's is an old AMI bios, zero relationship.
