Hi coollike,

Asus notebook usually use AMI BIOS & I confirmed this by looking in the Asus X5DC BIOS file. Please create a request thread at Ami Bios Unlocking Requests section. At the upper right, you'll see a NEW THREAD button. Click that button to create new thread.

If you use my modified BIOS image & you like it, please consider making a donation. Thank you very much. Smile

nice to hear that .
you can follow the steps here www.bios-mods.com/biosupdate.html for flashing your bios but you should replace the phlash.exe with the one i uploaded in post 8 .
flash the latest modified bios at post 13 and i will wait your reply .

i wanna get this part clear before i do this.... the difrence in ram and gfx card that the original poster and my laptop have is fine for the bios mod....

a little run down of the unlocked menus would be nice too so i know what im espose to get... im would really like fan control and temp controls in the bios and i assume from the posts at the beginning of the thread that over clocking isnt included in the hidden menus..

thanks for the help guys
