HP Bios checking
#1
I got really inspired after reading this site.

I wanted to open a HP laptop bios and just check it out, see what's in there. If there's any hidden menus, that sort of thing. It's the only laptop I have on hand at any rate.

I looked around, downloaded some things, booted to miniXP and was trying them out. The bit.exe basically only said it's HP bios, not award, phoenix, etc. I tried opening it in the editors and still, nothing. I'm trying to figure out how to get more information out of it but coming up at a dead end. I tried modbin too to no avail. Any ideas on how I can get in and check it out?

HP 4320s.

you can download bios from hp support page here

...
first, extract it with winrar or something.
then open bios file with andy's tool (link here), to find out, what bios it is.

cheers.

nevermind,

i've maded it myself and founded your bios file in "Rompaq" folder, file named : 68AHH.BIN

i've managed to open it with andy's tool and it sayed that it's EFI/Insyde bios.

So far i don't know the way to unlock it , but you can make request into insyde section,i hope that comiloml unlocks that for you , when he has time.
