HP dv6825 memory settings unlock

Hi,
I'd like to request an unlock for the HP Pavilion dv6825's lastest bios F.5A.

Additional laptop info: Intel T8100 CPU, DDR2 memory, Intel PM965 Express chipset

I bought a new RAM modules and I'm experiencing some timing/frequency difficulties, so I need as many as possible of these options available:
- memory timing (CAS, RAS2CAS, ...)
- memory frequency
- frequency ratio (FSBRAM)
- DRAM voltage (not needed, but might be useful)
And/or similar.

I also bought a new WLAN card and I need to add this device ID to whitelist (or remove the whole whitelist check). No SLIC changes, please.

Btw, I'd try to do it on my own (I'm interested in such things as low-level programming, bioses, etc.), but I couldn't find any info, manual or tutorial how to *successfully* mod Phoenix BIOS.

PLEASE REQUEST A WHITELIST MOD IN THE WHITE LIST REMOVE SECTION , THEN POST THE MODIFIED BIOS HERE FOR ME TO UNLOCK ITS OPTIONS .

Hi Sapphire,

Your notebook have compatible chipset & processor for dual-IDA. With dual-IDA: T8100-2.10GHz -> 2.30GHz@x11.5. dual-IDA only possible if EIST is unlocked. So, if the BIOS locked EIST, will need to mod it to clear the lock bit.

The dual IDA sounds great, I think it may be active even right now, according to CPU-Z, the multiplier jumps between x11 and x10.5. Didn't know about this feature.
(by the way, I'm gonna upgrade CPU to T8300 soon, ordered it on ebay a week ago)

Can you also try to unlock the AHCI mode?

no hidden AHIC option in your bios ........... but there is the hidden intel tab which contains some menus

its 100% sure that the frequency ratio option will not work and only will make your notebook unbootable , in all bioses i have modified and unlocked this option , no one has never said its working .
and no memory options are found to unlock .

let me knew if you want to unlock the other options .
