Bad news.
I used IBAUtil.exe under DOS.
I tried these three Option ROMs :
1) ICH8 AHCI Option ROM [VENDOR 8086 / DEVICE 2824]
2) Modified ICH8 AHCI Option ROM [VENDOR 8086 / DEVICE 1229]
3) WindSLIC SLIC Option ROM [VENDOR 8086 / DEVICE 1229]
First, I tried number 2. It said "successfully flashed image" but after rebooting it beeped. No SATA devices were bootable with AHCI mode which means the AHCI Option ROM is not loaded.
Second, I tried the default one (number 1). But I couldn't even flash it because IBAUtil said "This image is not for your adapter."
Third, I flashed number 3. It worked and detected as bootable device [PCI BEV : WindSLIC]. But as we know it is not an AHCI Option ROM.
So, I think there is only two ways left. One way is the setpci command, and the other way is BIOS update. I'm going to request BIOS update.
P.S. Are there any ways to load an option rom from USB stick?
