THIS LAST IMAGE IS AFTER I SET THE GRAPHICS TO iGPU. AFTER REBOOT, ABOVE IS WHAT I SEE. THE SETTING APPEARS TO HAVE REVERTED BACK TO HYBRID, BUT THE SETTINGS BELOW IT ARE FOR THE iGPU???

also, see how it says LCD Panel Type -> 1024x768 .. My display has a max resolution of 1366x768. Is there any way to enable the max resolution for VESA ?

Hi I have a hp envy 14 too, but its was a custom to order edition. Here the link to the bios download. If its the same that would be great cause I'm looking to disable the iGPU too and i have the same problem! THANKS!

EDIT: I won't mind donating $10 if you can somehow modify my bios so I boot just from the dGPU.

Judging from the filenames of the BIOS installer file, it's the same . Are you hoping to get OSX installed too? If this works and I am able to boot OSX with ATI graphics working, I'll donate $10 too .

Any info on this bios coming along? Planning to hackintosh my i5 envy 14 tonight and would love to have the discrete grapics running!

Hi, I found something that might be useful. Could you check it out please and let me know what you think? The third post says what the HP Insyde BIOS shows and then it's compared to one found in a SONY vaio insyde bios. (It's regarding the ability to set dGPU/iGPU/Hybrid graphics in the BIOS).

You already have that options in your bios, i can't do anything more if they are not working once selected.

I can't update the bios to F.23 because I don't have any wwan.

I really appreciate your help if you can mod my bios so I can change my graphic card to Intel or Ati.

Also I cannot use other Wireless adaptor and I'm stock with the original Wireless adaptor. There is a extra empty Pic-e under my hard-drive and I tried other Wireless adaptor but it cannot detect it, I even enabled Extral Bus Reserved but still nothing.
