Just once you connect back cmos battery and without the poer battery pack in the laptop you put usb stick into any usb port, then press win+B keys and while holding the keys pressed connect AC charger (without battery) and power on laptop (all this with Win+B keys pressed), don't release them untillyou see usb activity.

Okayyy, but i really have no way of knowing when there is usb activity, my flash drive dosent have an indicator light like my old one...

If that doesn't work try pressing all four arrows instead win+b and repeat the process.

If all this does not work, you will need to reprogram the spi ic that holds bios image using an externall programmer.
