I don't need any whitelisting, I just need to activate the EFI boot option on my laptop.

Is there any way to do it ?

Please provide a link to the BIOS download, you can find this on the manufacturers website.

No way, EFI boot is enabled by default, nobody seems to know how to make it work. And into the bios the EFI form is empty, so nothing can be done by our side

I wanted the option enabled in order to "tell" windows 7 or windows developer preview to look on the install DVDs for the .efi files and to configure it where to look.

If it can't be done, no problem. I know that HP believe that it's for consumer's security but they should've let us decide what's better for us.

I don't understand why do we have the option to install HP_TOOLS and UEFI Bios update since it doesn't work ? It makes no sense...
