bios upgrade bin link: (also attached to post)

My BIOS version is PB2a4a04
I'm doing this to access my video card options. Packard-Bell no longer supports this laptop nor the geforce 8600m gs card they used in it so i'm having to do everything my self. it'd be really great if you could produce a BIOS mod that i could actually use. i've noticed a lot of other people on the internet with similar problems with this and similar models. I saw that you already modded a packard bell easynote MB65 but it looked like it had a different BIOS version so i was afraid to try and apply it. merely flashing the BIOS upgrade (which I had to purchase) wasnt enough to access any significant new menus or fields.
thanks for looking at this. my plan is to flash this modded bios but i dont really know how to make screen shots, should i get some sort of emulator BEFORE i install the modded bios?
cheers!
