If you get a semibrick then you will need to recover it first, then try again

Which is just getting it to boot. Then re-flashing the bios?

Yes, almost that, or directly reflash from recovery pendrive.

I think the flash I did with the files you sent failed. All I get is fans spinning up, then dying down. And a blinking caps lock light. And a blank screen.
